Information We Collect
Linkd requires an account to use. Account creation and authentication is handled by Clerk, a third-party identity platform. When you sign up, we receive and store the following information:
Account data: your name and email address as provided during registration.
Usage data: QR codes you generate may be associated with your account so you can access them later. We do not log which codes you scan.
We do not collect payment information, precise location data, or any data beyond what is necessary to operate the app.
How We Use Your Information
Your data is used solely to provide and improve the Linkd experience:
— To create and manage your account.
— To save and display QR codes you have generated.
— To respond to support requests you initiate.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the app.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
We share data only with the following service providers who help us operate Linkd:
Clerk — handles authentication and stores your account credentials. Clerk's own privacy policy governs how they process your data.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Santrico Apps or its users.
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you would like your data deleted, email us at santrico.support@gmail.com and we will remove your account and associated data within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
Linkd is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure. Authentication is handled by Clerk, which employs industry-standard security practices. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Linkd after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
